It is our pleasure to announce that Maple 16 is now available for use on CIRCE. Users of NX will find that it is listed under “Applications -> Education”. Matlab release R2012a is now available for cluster use and can be downloaded by students and faculty engaging in research from the RC ISO’s site (NetID and [...] The OpenOffice productivity suite, which include a Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Database, Equation Editor, and several other applications has been installed on the CIRCE cluster and is available to all users of the CIRCE Desktop. The OpenOffice apps have been grouped together in the Applications menu, in a sub-menu item titled “Office”. Run is an application that was written by Research Computing in order to simplify running jobs in the queue in order to eliminate the need to use shell-based submit scripts for most jobs.
